CORAL HAMACA - BOCA CHICA

I went in May 2002 in Boca Chica in Coral Hamaca.
We had a splendid weather except one day of rain.
the hotel:
Splendid, very beautiful gardens, imposing swimming pool with the bar inside!!
Very good and very varied food.
The list of the cocktails is fabulous!! an immense choice!
The service is “Dominican”, i.e. that one says to you yes but it is necessary to wait…
but one made there!
We had a room with sight on the splendid private and kept beach hotel. there is a lagoon right in front of, one has foot very very far! one fails oneself easily with the pedal boats and kayaks! in 10 cm of water!! but one can nevertheless swim because 10 cm are towards the coral barrier, therefore far from the edge.
Excursions:
we made 2 of them (the third having been cancelled for lack of participants!)
Visit of Soana!! The paradise, a deserted island in the middle of a lagoon with the coconuts…
Visit interior of the island in the jeep safari (in fact of jeep, it acts a truck of which you are in the bucket!! very sympathetic in fact!), it was the day of rain and one took a beautiful shower, the cover not being tight!! the guide was fabulous and one has well laughs! one visited the countryside, one bathed in a cascade, ate “typical” at German…and yes, it opened a restaurant with tourists but they was good!
2 excursions not to be missed!
We also went by taxi with St Dominguo, but we were not conquered by the city (contrary in Havana)
Boca Chica:
After being itself made swindled by a “friend” the first day in a bar, the price of drink being level of the Champs Elysées, we retenté several exits and without concern, the whole being to say not to the requests with the smile and all occurs well!
The prostitution is visible but not streetwalker in day in any case.
